You get what you pay for.
72 Cup Hooks for $4.99 sounds ridiculous but I bought them anyway so I wouldn't have to go to Lowe's. The reason they are so cheap is because of the quality. The brass plate is rubbed down with pliers only for the last few turns. And with a pair of pliers, I bent a few with ease. I also found a few unopened boxes in just two of the boxes I used today, one with no strings and one already mangled. (See photo.). But despite the lack of power, I still used them because I only used them to hang outdoor lights. Hopefully I don't have to add rust in a future review. Don't buy if you're hanging something heavy.
