Review on 💪 Upgrade Your Jeep Wrangler TJ with Rancho RS5000X Gas Shock Set for 4-5" Lift - Compatible for 1997-2006 Models by Jeff Ross

After reading many reviews I decided to use these dampers for my daily TJ along with the corresponding steering stabilizer which I bought separately. I didn't want to break the bank, but I wanted something that offered a good ride quality. After installation and a short road test I am very happy with the purchase and they have made my jeep 1000% better than the old unknown shock absorbers that were installed when I bought them. I've had over 10 TJs and it's now one of the best road bikes I've ever owned, although it still has cheaper Pro Comp coil springs. They are great at absorbing bumps, big and small, and my jeep no longer rattles or floats in the air after hitting bumps. This is the best value for money of any shock on the market and I would say it beats every other brand except Fox (which is at least three times the price). I would definitely recommend them and buy them again next time. Jeep. Cons: The paint on the shock body is a bit thin, I would recommend either applying another coat of paint or covering it with a clear coat or spraying it with WD-40 or Fluid Film to prevent rust like my old shock did on it the photo!
