    Huge upgrade for rough terrain

I have an 04 LJ with a 4" lift for rough terrain. The beats were bad and the ride was rough. Lots of diving under braking, hitting hard on even moderate road bumps and teething off-road. These got better day and night. Significantly more comfortable off-road and significantly more stable in curves and when braking on the road. Huge bang for the buck.

    • Perfect for outdoor activities

    Soften your jeep!

So my TJ drove so poorly I could tell if I was heads or tails on a dime. Rancho rsx5000 is the best value for money. In truth, you can pay more, but you won't get much better. I paid over three grand for the kings and love them, they are way better than these but they are awesome for $250. Well done Rancho! I know the ranch has long run by its street standards. not many but some.

Best Jeep Wrangler Shocks for Driveability

Standard shocks were too stiff, all the upgrades I tried were even worse for mid-weight Jeep TJs, but most of them were designed for much heavier and longer cars . After reading many forums and Jeep enthusiasts, Rancho was always mentioned. After the installation, I also confirm these conclusions. You won't be disappointed and the value for money is a bonus! Much softer than stick! Excellent Jeep Wrangler Fit, Excellent On-Road Ride Quality!

Huge upgrades in dampers, struts and suspension

So I had an earlier version of Rancho adjustable shocks and I had them on my 01 tj, well it was like trying to operate a bouncy castle , I put their shocks on (if it's on a tj, have fun jacking up the body after you break the bolts) and it's like driving a good Cadillac if it were at least 4 inches tall, but they made it ride better than our sto k 2012 ram 1500 so i'm very happy with my purchase i don't think you could do better than these and they were at a great price. 10/10 recommend.

Good reviews on shocks, struts and suspension

I bought these shocks for my 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ because they got great reviews on the forums. So far they're blowing off the skyjackers I've had with me. I have a 4 inch lifter and they still have decent travel. I use the jeep mostly for road driving (looking for a softer experience) and haven't driven it off-road since the new shocks came out, but I'm sure they will do the job. I connected them to the drop pin pushers which made installation a bit more difficult as the drop pins that came…

Perfect fit for my '06 Wrangler

I installed these RS5000X shocks on my '06 Wrangler LJ. The jeep has a 4 inch lift and these shocks were exactly the same length as the original kit shocks. The Jeep drives great and the dampers feel pretty soft. I think I was expecting the shocks to make the ride a bit stiffer, but I'm glad it isn't. If you are installing on a TJ/LJ, check out some forums and videos on how to remove the rear top butterfly mounting screws. I think they break most of the time and need to be removed. Be prepared…

Best value for money TJ Shock on the market. PERIOD!

After reading many reviews I decided to use these dampers for my daily TJ along with the corresponding steering stabilizer which I bought separately. I didn't want to break the bank, but I wanted something that offered a good ride quality. After installation and a short road test I am very happy with the purchase and they have made my jeep 1000% better than the old unknown shock absorbers that were installed when I bought them. I've had over 10 TJs and it's now one of the best road bikes I've…

Big shocks, but you need to know a few things first.

I bought these shocks to replace the shocks that came with a 4" Rough Country raise kit that my Jeep's previous owner installed. Although the difference isn't day and night, I can definitely say that the medium-sized bumps aren't as annoying as they used to be. It's by no means the same as a modern crossover SUV, but I don't feel like breaking an axle every time I hit freeway potholes. Speed. Installation was easy enough. Just remember to soak the top rear bolts in grease as if they're about to
