Beware the 30 day guarantee. I bought this part in June and it failed in August. Just in case I replaced the vacuum switch along with the power steering pump on my Celica GT 91 (which I rebuilt and is in excellent condition) and also installed a surge protector. After a while, my power steering started whining, hard to turn, and then a puff of white smoke came out of the exhaust. I have worked in the auto parts industry so I am very familiar with Dorman products and for the most part they have been reliable. It's pretty clear that the quality control on this switch was very poor or the seller got it from an additional source. Maybe both? However, I bought another switch from a reputable auto parts store with a much longer warranty. Again, buyers beware.
