Review on 📏 19053C Caliper Divider from Big Horn by Russ Freeman

These are the first 'old' calipers I've owned so far with fancy electronic cheap ones (but good - PCB printing is very accurate). Difficult to measure the diameter of a deep indentation with electronics 😆Good quality. Well polished steel. Not "stainless steel" so presumably they were coated in a thin coat of machine oil to keep moisture out. I believe that stainless steel would have caused other problems over time, so I think the choice here was the right one. The movement of the screw is a little rough until it's been practiced a few times and now it feels like a precision instrument! Made in India!
