This set didn't suit me very well. I like to squeeze as much water as possible out of my frozen/thawed tofu, but the only pressure on the tofu in this set comes from a source that isn't very strong. It pushes to a certain point and then stops and you can't set it to push harder. If you then take the set apart and manually squeeze the tofu between the two plastic pieces (like you can with two plates), a lot more water comes out. Also, the clamps on the sides are very difficult to close when tofu is in the press. If I can get another press, I'll just go with one that has screws or some other method of manually increasing the pressure. The springs do not allow any increase in pressure. You have to do it manually, which I can do with two plates.
