Review on MOSTPLUS Control Valve Honda Civic by Steven Saric

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Right on the mark: Idle control valves

So I'm going to do a very detailed review of the 1996 Civic LX. When the car is stationary and idling, the needle of the temperature gauge is constantly rising, and when the car is moving, the pointer returns to normal just as quickly. When the temperature gauge needle is on and I start the engine, the temperature gauge needle drops slightly. The fan turns on at a hot reading and then turns off when the needle goes down a little, but the motor doesn't smoke and doesn't feel really hot. As far as I know, this is a normal temperature. So I searched the internet and facebook groups and then came across a video saying that IAC could be an idle problem as it largely controls the idle. I bought this part and now I have no problems.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
