Test it in fuel injection system first

didn't work for me, I think my car is picky about fitting spares, bought OEM and works fine. Maybe this replacement will best fit your car. The way to find out is to buy and try for yourself

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Hard to say

98 honda civic Lx d16y7 non vtech

Great product. Much less than what auto parts require (priced at $180). lol My problem was fixed immediately. Easy to install if you are mechanically inclined. I recommend. updated 9/11/19.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Safety

Not good, didn't work.

This product was fitted to my car the same day, the same problem persisted and the check engine light came on again. I bought the original from the dealer and now my car runs like new. Definitely don't buy.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Modern

Good price! Works perfectly!

I ordered this part and it arrived very quickly. Put it on my Civic DX 97 (autotrans) and the idle problem was gone. For your information, this part is only suitable for vehicles with automatic transmission. The manual transmission uses a different IAC valve.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Clarity

So far, so good!

Used this to replace an old IAC valve on my 1997 Honda Civic LX and the low idle problem seems to have been fixed. The included pad wasn't perfect, but it works. It will be released 3 days after the exchange, so I'll give it a 5 star rating for now. I'll update if anything comes up.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No instructions

Best deal yet Best replacement parts

My car was code for IAC and would shake when my foot was off the gas along with thumping at idle. Local parts dealers were asking over $150, had never heard of this brand before but considering the low cost decided to give it a try. After installing the new IAC I cleared the code and haven't been able to get enough of it until now. All my idle problems are gone and my car runs normally again. Full recommendation and would happily order from them again should the need arise.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Disappointed: Fuel Injection

I bought a Most Plus brand MAP sensor for my commercial vehicle and it works great. So I bought an IACV from them hoping it would also work perfectly, but to my surprise it was ready in just over a month and with modest driving. I ended up getting two DTCs for a temporary DTC P0505 and a permanent DTC P0505 and the car was shaking at OVER 1400rpm. Went to local auto parts and bought a Standard Motor Parts AC 184 IACV valve and no more DTC. The car came back to life. This product is only good…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • No

Right on the mark: Idle control valves

So I'm going to do a very detailed review of the 1996 Civic LX. When the car is stationary and idling, the needle of the temperature gauge is constantly rising, and when the car is moving, the pointer returns to normal just as quickly. When the temperature gauge needle is on and I start the engine, the temperature gauge needle drops slightly. The fan turns on at a hot reading and then turns off when the needle goes down a little, but the motor doesn't smoke and doesn't feel really hot. As far…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
