Review on Iwata - Air Gunsa 1.8 HVLP Primer Spray Gun (9236) by Ron Thomas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable and well built

Well worth the price. Well done. Repeatable results as the adjustment settings are constant and reproducible with each spray. Here's the thing: A cheap gun requires you to buy two or so of these so you don't get stuck with paint or stock parts. $60+ right there. Modern paint requires a controlled fine spray, and a cheap gun will not spray well enough or develop the jet size needed to transfer a wet edge across a large car or truck. This gun sprays Nason Ful-Poxy wet, wide and fast enough to use the product as a non-abrasive sealant. Huge labor savings. This 1.8 and 1.3 caliber pistol is all you need. Otherwise, with a cheap gun, you are paying for an expensive gun in a waste of time and materials without the benefit of owning a quality gun. Paint a trailer with cheap tractor paint? Go with purple. Pay $500 for premium paint? Walk with a weapon on this level. W400 and GTI Pro-Lite in the same category. Finally, given the savings in costly breakdowns and avoidance of repainting, this pistol is cheap. There are no disappointments here.
