Excellent primer gun: painting tools and equipment

A good paint gun for its price, I only bought it for priming and it lays down very well. The fan could be bigger, but the quality is up to Iwata's standards.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Neutral

Works great in spray guns and accessories

Have been using this for a few months now. I use it as a primer in a busy manufacturing shop, it has been used over 100 times. Just clean it after use. The only downside is that it doesn't come with cleaning brushes or a disassembly key.

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Weight

Excellent primer gun

2K primer and epoxy flow so smoothly from this gun. I wish I had known that earlier. You cannot surpass the quality of the weapon and achieve such results with any other weapon in this field. Maybe even the ones that cost more.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No mold required

Excellent capsule quality for the price

Excellent capsule for the price. Good quality. There was another such gun that lasted over 5 years of everyday use. Thumbs up! The assembly is good, not cheap. Keep it clean and don't drop it and it will last forever.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Functionality

Very good for the price

Description says HVLP but I don't think it's an HVLP gun but as they say it's a surprisingly good gun. Well built and as good as 3-4 times more expensive guns. Written "Made in Italy". I did some test sprays and it sterilized well with a wide fan. This is definitely a top notch primer gun.

Pros
  • Great range
Cons
  • Sad Gear

Not bad for the price.

I bought this to replace my old SATA ignition gun. The gun isn't bad, but certainly not as good as my Sata. The fan isn't very big and it's not HVLP, so you'll need to spray at a higher pressure to get good atomization. For the money this gun is not bad. It lays down fairly smoothly on top of the foundation once you've applied it. I do not regret the purchase.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some trouble

Great primer gun

I bought this to replace my Accuspray 3m primer gun. I've never gotten a great spray out of my Accuspray. So far I've used Evercoat Superbuild Polyester Primer and Kirker Epoxy Primer. Both spray like water and with a little practice and adjustment they dry out with almost no surface texture. I've found that I can easily reduce the inlet pressure from the 2 bar spec and still get great results with a little less overspray. I can't wait to try and clean my LPH 400 base.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Looks used, but is great!

Item received on time but gun looked used. The gun has some scratches and imperfections in the finish. Nothing crazy just cosmetics, I was a bit uncomfortable at first but I gave it a try anyway. The gun feels solid and the spray primer (woodworking) and plasti dip (on my car) are immaculate. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Should last a long time. And for anyone wondering, it's not HVLP, but it produces quite a bit of product. This way you don't have to spend 6-7 hours on a…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Everything ok

Reliable and well built

Well worth the price. Well done. Repeatable results as the adjustment settings are constant and reproducible with each spray. Here's the thing: A cheap gun requires you to buy two or so of these so you don't get stuck with paint or stock parts. $60+ right there. Modern paint requires a controlled fine spray, and a cheap gun will not spray well enough or develop the jet size needed to transfer a wet edge across a large car or truck. This gun sprays Nason Ful-Poxy wet, wide and fast enough to use

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide
