I have a home automation system that uses a large number of Insteon devices. The Velop's mesh network created tremendous amounts of interference to the point where it couldn't be used. The mesh network offered less coverage than my extreme at Apple Airport. After 12 hours of use I gave up and went back to my Apple product. As soon as I unplugged the Velop products, my home automation system went back to normal. This product is NOT compatible with Insteon. It doesn't offer the best WiFi coverage.
