I have a home automation system that uses a large number of Insteon devices. The Velop's mesh network created tremendous amounts of interference to the point where it couldn't be used. The mesh network offered less coverage than my extreme at Apple Airport. After 12 hours of use I gave up and went back to my Apple product. This works better than my old router and I get better coverage around the house. It wasn't difficult to install, but it took me a few tries to figure it out. You will need to watch the YouTube video to help as these instructions are not complete. You need the Linksys app and then it takes a few minutes to activate each node. So far I'm happy with the update.

Terrible, horrible, horrible. It started strong and ended miserably at best. I'll try to go back and look for something else. Our individual devices were repeatedly disconnected from networks and the signal competed with different modules. The return policy does not give you enough time to evaluate the product, try it, it starts to fail after 30-60 days. Just spent 30 minutes on Amazon, no returns, call the manufacturer. I have a crappy refurbished Wi -Fi router used by my ISPs. I've never been able to get the speeds I'm paying for, despite having had multiple techs, router replacements, etc. over the years. I'm definitely tired of their BS, POS hardware. I did a little research and found this to be the best value for my 4150sqm. ft. Installed, connected to my router/modem and viola, at least 5x throughput/speed. Then I throw away your modem and buy a good one.;

I like it but for some reason the nodes keep disconnecting. It's not that big of a problem because the main network is really powerful.

BUYER WARNING! The signal disappears intermittently several times a day. The app is clunky and SLOW. Manually resetting every node on my network takes 5-10 minutes each! Google WiFi is what I'm going to do next. Unfortunately, the time and money I have invested in this system is a waste of time.
