I bought this product to test the final concentration of alcohol in some home made disinfectants. I followed the WHO recipe for a hand sanitizer that contains 99.8% isopropyl alcohol. I didn't dilute the sanitizer because the alcohol felt like it was almost 100% and when I checked it with distilled water (0%) after calibration, it was over the top. After dilution you should end up with hand sanitizer in the 80% range so I know the alcohol percentage in isopropyl alcohol was accurate and that even with the addition of peroxide and glycerin it was still over 80% which I was glad to know. so my disinfectant is strong. I made some undiluted and gave it to family and friends.
