I couldn't get the block to work initially until I connected it directly to the battery. I ran the unit several times before installing it in the door and it seemed to work fine. The next day the regulator was stuck in the fully open position and the engine solenoid valve was very hot. I hope I just got a bad block and ask for a replacement. Update - I received a replacement 2 days after requesting it and the new unit works great. This is a window carriage center position cam in a well lubricated track compared to the first which ended up being completely dry. I was very grateful that they sent a replacement without me having to send them the old unit first. I've changed my rating to 5 stars as I'm happy with the replacement work and the prompt and courteous customer service :)
