Pros: First, it's definitely easy, so I have to buy it. I have a filter jug, tap water is 78 ppm, after filtering it is 61 ppm. A word of advice, a tds meter can also tell you when to replace your filter pitcher core if you are no longer seeing a difference in your filtered water. Second, no calibration is required. Super easy controls. Switch on and check, that's all. Third, the large LCD display makes reading the numbers much easier. Green for below 40ppm, red for above 40ppm. Fourth, the graph on the back of the meter clearly shows what the ppm level is in my water. Then you have a clear idea of the water quality. Cons: This counter comes with a handy leather case. Since I never take it out of the house, it doesn't help me much. But it might be useful for other people. Generally speaking, after having this TDS meter I have a better understanding of the quality of my drinking water as everything we put into our bodies affects our health, especially water. Therefore, it is the responsibility of our health to test our daily drinking water. While the quality is good, we'll update if there's anything new.
