Let's be polite: This is an "amateur" pistol at best. My old Weller pistol of the same power is dead for good. The new pistol is MUCH less useful. The online description of the gun states that the heat-up time is six seconds. Mine takes 15 to 20. The gun packaging says the gun should cool for five minutes after 30 seconds of operation. This limit also applies automatically to my pistol: If you continue to use the pistol without a cooling phase, the pistol body will become very hot. The soldering iron tip does not work. In the short version, this weapon is too big to fit into tight spaces for small jobs and too weak for big jobs. I will replace it.
