If it is "professional " as stated on the bag, I would be afraid to see anything less.

I was very happy to unbox this faucet! The faucet came neatly packaged in an amazing little cloth pouch stating they make professional quality products and the faucet looks amazing! Here my satisfaction ended. I've installed at least a dozen faucets from different brands, locations, etc. and have never had an installation problem like this. After reading the instructions in full and wondering if maybe they do something differently, it reads like any other faucet setup. I go. I install a faucet; looks great. install drain; looks great again. But wait, it's leaking. Not just one drop, many drops from many areas. Oops, I must have overlooked something. No, everything is delayed. Okay, maybe it needs tightening more tightly than the others I've installed, so I tighten more. Still in flow. This thing leaks more than a submarine with screen doors! (Thanks Morgan Freeman for the very helpful link) I'm pulling the drain back out to see if anything is missing, or maybe I've fouled the gasket and it's not seating. No and no. Then I discovered that some of the leaks were coming from the factory pre-assembled joint! I've never had to disassemble something that was factory assembled and redo it! I checked the sink drain again to make sure there was no dirt or anything causing problems. Neither. After I reassembled the downspout and taped it over (I'm not sure why the factory did anything to seal the metal-to-metal pipe joint that doesn't have a gasket in between, I think that would make too much sense ), I proceeded to reinstall the drain and imagine it's still flowing! I buy a lot of things from Revain but I think this is the last faucet I will ever buy from any other Revain brand. I've learned my lesson and I'm ashamed. It goes in the trash! Reinstalled the old one and guess what, no leaks! It was a cheap contractor that sells for around $20 in big stores and doesn't run out!

Pros
  • Durable matte black finish: resists tarnishing and corrosion with daily use
Cons
  • Slightly torn
