Review on πŸ₯œ Top-rated Chef'n Nut Butter Stirrer: Perfect Fit for Mason Jars, Effortless Mixing (Red) by Michael Baird

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works well with a 16 ounce can of Smuckers but requires little grip strength to hold the can

This worked very well for me and much better than my usual endless one Stirring method using a knife or fork, causing a large amount of oil to run down the outside of the jar. It really works if you follow the instructions. First I used this with a 16 ounce can of Smuckers Natural Peanut Butter. While the instructions say the lid is to be screwed on, it was actually more like I pressed on it and it slipped in place. Then I just stick the tip of a metal skewer through the slit in the top layer of butter and peanut butter. You need to start at the top and slowly work your way down while stirring. Most of the action actually takes place with the wand pointing towards the top of the glass. Once you've blended the top third, the rest will be easy. You need to tilt the stick so that it is at an angle as shown in the pictures. The handle should be on the side of the can so you can rotate it. If you tilt the wand the other way, the handle is in the middle and you can't turn the damn thing. Here's the catch: you have to support the jar by squeezing the lid with your dominant hand while you stir it. your other hand I'm not weak but I did find it a little difficult to hold the jar even when laying on a towel to secure it. To be honest, it's difficult to mix peanut butter with any method I use. It's just a little awkward to hold the jar by the lid instead of the middle. I thought this blended peanut butter really well and I prefer it to any other method I've tried. . It's light years faster. Honestly there is no comparison. The only thing to note is that if you leave this in the jar you are essentially leaving the jar open as the slot at the top is not completely filled with the wand. Where I live, fruit flies live most of the year and they even get into my fridge. I will not leave this. I take it off and replace it with the original cover. I've found that when I store peanut butter in the fridge, it doesn't separate after I mix it well.

Pros
  • EASY TO CLEAN: top shelf dishwasher safe
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
