Review on Nespresso EN80B De'Longhi Original Espresso Machine: Compact and Sleek Black Design, 12.6 x 4.7 x 9 inches by Tim Jenkins

I'll start by noting that I'm not a coffee or espresso fan at all. For at least 5 years, Starbucks has satisfied my daily dose of about $4-5 a day, which is total. However, I don't actually spend exorbitant amounts of money on other habits like smoking or going to bars, so this worked for my budget. But to be honest, the coffee drinks I love (mocha) are too high in calories, and I got uncomfortable going to Starbucks every morning. I've had a Mr. Kaffee espresso machine for a year, but it did too much washable dishes and the product wasn't strong enough. Finally, in December 2017, I was fed up and started looking for a better espresso machine. I chose Nespresso with Aeroccino because the reviews were great and it seemed like there would only be one dish I could wash my hands with - Aeroccino itself. Capsules are expensive and there is a minimum order requirement, but the price is not fixed. My drink was $1.50 per day (I use two capsules) compared to $4-5 per day at Starbucks. That's a difference of $45 to $150 per month. Espresso tastes great - I use Kazaar pods. But it took me a week or a week and a half to get used to the Nespresso caffeine compared to Starbucks. I was sleepy during this adjustment period. Now it keeps me going until noon and then later I just have a cup of tea. The performance of the Aeroccino is weak. It doesn't steam milk very well, it heats it up and then froths the top layer. Foam doesn't appeal to me. I tried all milk fats for comparison. However, it's "good enough" for me. The Aeroccino is quite easy to clean, especially right after frothing, so that no milk residue sticks. My main issue is that the Aeroccino stopped working for me today after only owning the car for a month. I have a 4 year protection plan but for now it is still covered by the manufacturer warranty. This is frustrating and I hope that I had a defective unit and that the replacement works for a long time. I will update in a few months.
