Decent hub with some issues. First, the topology is not quite as expected. This hub is actually 3 4-port hubs crammed into one box. The first hub is physical ports 1 and 2, while internal ports 3 and 4 work with separate hubs for physical ports 3-6 and 7-10. (The first port is closest to the USB cable on the back of the hub.) I can't tell how much this affects transfer speeds. The real problem for me is that it adds extra nodes that are too many for the host controller, meaning I can't use those ports anyway. The status LEDs are located deep inside the case so they don't line up with the holes, making them difficult to see. Luckily, the USB hub's status lights aren't all that useful anyway. Finally, the mounting screws are small and fragile. Luckily there were extras in the bag.
