Review on 🧶 Knitter's Pride Basix 40" Circular Knitting Needles, US 13 (9.0mm) - Item #400241 by Summer Hendricks

These needles feel good in the hand and are sized as described (both needle size and circumference). I liked using them when I could. However, about halfway through the first project I knit with it, one of the needles broke the connecting wire, rendering it unusable. Because of the way the needles are made; it was impossible for me to glue them together without a vice or something. Which brings me to my overall rating: These needles were fine. until they burst. If you have a small or light project, this will probably work; I think the weight of the heavy yarn on the needles caused them to break. This seems silly because 1) large needles are used for large yarns and 2) long round needles are only needed for large projects. I went to a craft store and paid twice as much for slightly shorter circular needles; It was worth it for needles that last longer than 1 project. Definitely disappointed but I think you get what you pay for.
