I purchased the Dutch Oven and Care Kit as a wedding gift for a former Boy Scout in my squad to use in his new home. He liked the dishes we cooked in cast-iron braziers. When I watched the cleaning video of this ceramic coated version I was sure he would like it. This eliminates the special care of conventional cast-iron fire bowls. The instructions that came with the product explained very well how to use and clean it, with the heat setting recommended for a domestic stove.
