Review on EKG Adventure Card 🐱 Game by Exploding Kittens LLC by Thomas Drew

I love this game and the party version is similar to the original SFW and includes some Exploding Kittens expansion cards except for Flip and Exploding Kitten. There are enough cards for up to 10 players as listed on the box, but the deck itself is divided into a 2-3 player deck and a 4-7 player deck. By combining two decks, you can play for 8-10 players. Attack and Targeted Attack cards have been changed to Double Strike and Triple Strike, which work similarly to Targeted Attack but now stack when players play them in tandem, removing the gray area for playing multiple Attack cards in a row. But since I didn't want to do that because the game itself deserves 5 stars, I had to give the party version one star. The card backs are different from the original game, so RIP is expanding this version with one of the current/upcoming expansions. Also, there is no plastic packaging on the outside, which didn't make much sense to me, and the 2-3 and 4-7 player decks are not separated from each other, so it took a lot of tedious sorting before use. If you're playing 4 players, the 4-7 player deck is also significantly slower, so if you like faster kitty games, make changes accordingly. Played well when playing with 6 players and full 10 players. However, the "party" concept made me wonder why not just get another basic version of the game for bigger hangouts? I ended up saving this copy for demonstration purposes (or planning to give this copy to a friend who later had no kittens) and plan on buying another base copy to follow the same spirit as the party pack. New players I would say if you want a game with more than 5-6 players, like in vanilla, get two copies of the base deck and the expansion to get the full deck that this game has (about the same price like the Holiday Bundle when it's on sale). You are also prepared for future expansions in the future. For die-hard Kitty fans, this is still a great addition to your games collection and definitely some fanservice in the box (won't spoil it). It's also a great gift copy for times when >6 players are needed and the majority of the player base is made up of new players.
