. My son didn't want to ride without his training wheels. Usually he moves slowly and likes to look around. That is amazing. It was easy to install as I had the training wheels off and on. We used it 3 times a week for 20-30 minutes. I'm a mom and I'm 64 inches tall. My son is 7 years old. I would advise him to kick and release for a few seconds and let him know how long he's doing it alone and then finally count to 3 and release. I liked being able to grab the handle and help fix it or salvage it when I noticed it was hunched over a lot at the beginning. I'll take it off next week to make sure it's ok. It is great. I'm glad I bought it.
