Great tool for learning to ride a bike.

My 5 year old rode 2 bikes like a champ 3 days after bolting it to my bike. This is a great learning tool. It was very effective in giving my son confidence and getting rid of his fear of cycling. My wife and I have fought many times and ended up frustrated because nothing worked. If your child is struggling and has never been able to use a balance bike like ours, this will definitely help.

Good idea, but impractical to use

The handles are too short. Adults had to bend down to use it, which wasn't easy on the back. The handles had to be made longer to allow adults to securely hold the child and themselves. It was definitely a two person process as you have to remove the training wheels to attach the handles. One person had to hold the child securely on the bike while another adult also held the handles. It would make more sense to attach handles to training wheels. Safety is the goal. As I said, this is a great…

It's worth it! good for kids accessories

I never write reviews for Revain but feel compelled to do so after the amazing experience with this bike grip. My daughter struggled to ride her bike without training wheels, resulting in multiple attempts over several weeks that ended in frustration and tears. After a 15 minute session using this bike grip, my daughter gained the confidence and skills to ride on her own. This is much better than trying to grab onto the back of a bike, a child, or the front handlebars. It provides stability and

game changer! for sport

You are teaching your child to ride a bike and suddenly you realize that you are old and have back pain and you think it's ok if you never learn to ride a bike? Then you should consider getting this! :) After installing this grip, it completely saved my back and I was able to keep the bike upright and help my son balance on his bike with confidence. Because you're standing up straight and a little further back, instead of leaning in behind your child who's holding on to the seat, they won't…

It's amazing and really works.

. My son didn't want to ride without his training wheels. Usually he moves slowly and likes to look around. That is amazing. It was easy to install as I had the training wheels off and on. We used it 3 times a week for 20-30 minutes. I'm a mom and I'm 64 inches tall. My son is 7 years old. I would advise him to kick and release for a few seconds and let him know how long he's doing it alone and then finally count to 3 and release. I liked being able to grab the handle and help fix it or salvage

Pros
  • . Very good price.
Cons
  • . There are nuances.

Wow it took me 1 hour for my 6 year old to learn to ride

I thought this product was a little more expensive than it is but after the first hour using it with my 6 year old Year old used daughter, she learned to ride and it was worth it. Before using this grip, I tried to hold/stabilize it by holding it under my armpits. This method did not suit us, it was difficult to maneuver behind the bike. She also sensed my attempt to let go, and that realization made her panic and stop. With that bar, she had no idea when I was holding it and when I was…

Affordable solution

Item arrived like new, nothing missing. Installation instructions are included and are very easy to use. It took 10 minutes to remove the training wheels and put on the bike. These items come without hardware or wrenches. You must use what is on the bike or buy one. I can reach the end of the grip without bending my knees and back and I'm 5ft 11in tall. It is strong enough when the nuts are tightened. The span of the rear fork and axle on my daughter's bike is smaller than the U end of the…
