Disappointing good phone for office electronics

Plain old fashioned phone with large keypads. Batteries inserted, connected, instructions followed. The first problem is feedback. If the phone is not turned on at the lowest volume level, simply lifting the handset will result in severe feedback to the handset. (The speaker was definitely off.) Contrast is very poor; If you're buying for an elderly person or someone with a limited website, the phone itself will be difficult to read at best. No backlight. But the main reason I'm bringing it back is the noise. Somehow, the mouthpiece not only picks up the sound of your voice, but tons of sounds in the room as well. Very annoying and makes for a very difficult conversation. Too many of just one at a time.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Annoying
