They're lightweight, comfortable and breathable. no doubt they wear out quickly. These are not work shoes, these are hiking shoes. They also do not protect against snakes. If you want durable work boots with snake protection, you need to buy knee-length leather boots. I don't see any contractor wearing them here. For me they work great. I wish they had used half eye loops on the top holes. It's uncomfortable to lace them up. They slip on very easily, and the breathable material is also slightly stretchy.
