Review on 🎡 Gohifiaudio NA2 Phono Preamp: Enhance Your Turntable Experience with MM-Only RCA Line Output by Mike Anderson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

"Very low background noise "? Barely

I was looking for an affordable "upgrade" for my cheap Pyle phono stage, which doesn't have a dedicated ground screw (so I had to connect a ground wire to one of the unit's screws). It had an annoying low 'hum' that I couldn't get rid of even after replacing the RCA cables with expensive (but excellent quality) BJCs. I was hoping this new preamp would fix the problem, but the hum it makes is even LOUDDER than my current Pyle preamp, despite being properly grounded to my turntable. It's a shame because the device itself is very sleek and attractive. I think I'll shell out for the Pro-Ject, which seems to be the only device that completely eliminates interference/noise.
