Bought one to test turntables in my shop, my friend liked it for the price and when I ordered it the right channel wasn't playing. I returned it and gave it to him. If you're new to recording and need a starter, this is good enough, but if you want the best sound and quality control, go elsewhere.

Bought this device as a temporary cheap solution to create a perspective between extra budget, budget, mid and high end. For $23, no one should expect more than a TT boost. He does it, and he does it well enough not to offend anyone. There is clearly nothing wrong with that. However, in the world of phono preamps, for $60-$120 you can get products that offer more.

update - still works well noticed complaints that others have problems with excessive noise. The problem is probably in the power supply, see the photo of what I have. This power supply is interchangeable with S Mani. I noticed that he improved Mani by making it more powerful. Used S Mani power supply on NA2 and improved the sound -YMMV. Currently alternating between Mani and NA2 on my main rig - great value for money even if you need a new power supply.

I was looking for an affordable "upgrade" for my cheap Pyle phono stage, which doesn't have a dedicated ground screw (so I had to connect a ground wire to one of the unit's screws). It had an annoying low 'hum' that I couldn't get rid of even after replacing the RCA cables with expensive (but excellent quality) BJCs. I was hoping this new preamp would fix the problem, but the hum it makes is even LOUDDER than my current Pyle preamp, despite being properly grounded to my turntable. It's a shame…

Very well made Chinese clone of a very expensive 90's stereo. But the problem is that the adapter. Get rid of the junk that causes a little noise at the preamp and I doubt its 24V adapter because it's light, get a better adapter instead of cheap chinese junk. Other issues are the RCA output is messed up, the color scheme is wrong, red is the left channel and white is the right channel.
