Review on Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 235/65 R17 108H all season by Micha Dobrzyski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I placed on a Ssangyong Kyron 4 * 4 xdi20; previously, it had been a Nokia nordman suv2. 235-75; before them, a standard guano nexen rodian 235-75 was in place for a while. I started off with winter tires (225-75), and then I moved to summer tires (also 225-75). The variety of rubber for 225-75 is far wider than that of 235-75. Commentary after two to three months of driving (both in the city and to and from Karelia). They make a lot more noise on asphalt than they do on the highway because the tread is more muddy on asphalt. excellent on the ground, tenacious, and extremely good on what are really just regular muddy forest roads. They don't let it float in puddles and they make sure it stays in the rut (or at least it didn't pick up enough speed to float). a drawback that I have read about in other reviews in the past but have ignored; however, now that I have experienced it for myself, I pay attention to it: after soils and even on ordinary asphalt, any small pebbles that get stuck in the wide grooves of the tread do not pop out, and when driving they make noise and click like spikes on asphalt. Additionally, they need to be manually trimmed every once in a while. It does not cause any _special_ inconveniences, but there are certain people for whom convenience is more essential, therefore I am writing this for those people. Rubber, being a soft material, contributes to the comfort provided by the suspension by helping to smooth out bumps and fissures in the asphalt. I'm satisfied so far.

Pros
  • A well-balanced vehicle with a supple ride that is, in the opinion of the driver, softer and smoother than the Nokia Nordman SUV2.
Cons
  • Not yet, maybe I'll come up with anything later. Haven't discovered it yet.
