Some reviews mention that the Jet needs trimming or that the bar doesn't fit in the channel. If you just leave the hoop in the channel, its hair will be wider and you might be concerned. However, after you stretch it around the entire wheel, that extra width is gone and it fits perfectly. You may have to tighten that last few inches by hand, but stretching makes the belt narrower (as it should be) and the result is perfect. Be sure to remove the wheels from the saw to fit new tires. This allows you to mount the wheel on a workbench and use the spring clips to hold things in place while you work with screwdrivers or tire changers to stretch them. I left mine in the sun for about 30 minutes, to relax me and they left without further ado. They're definitely quieter than the old rubber tires, but they cracked quite a bit on my saw. Use this as an opportunity to reset your bandsaw.
