Review on 🍽️ Gibson Soho Lounge 16-Piece Square Reactive Glaze Dinnerware Set, Red: Stylish and Versatile Tableware for Modern Dining by Eric Speers

I received 2 of them today. I'm not entirely sure how durable and easy to clean they will be. I love the color and I love the size of the plates, bowls, cups and saucers. They are thick and seem durable. I don't know if they break easily or not. Unlike other reviewers, I found them well packaged. In the 1st set of plates I opened, 2 plates had holes in the middle. One was less visible than the other, but both had scratches. The glaze was uneven on two plates (lighter in the middle) so I was all the more disappointed when I opened the 2nd box. All 4 panels had holes in the middle, so 6 out of 8 panels are defective. The glaze on one of the cups came off the edge. In the remaining 7 cups, black was mixed with red, creating a pleasing effect. Where the glazing was removed the person who fired it was careless and the black didn't go deep enough that you can see a bright red where black should have been mixed with red. Also, for continuity, the icing hasn't been made smooth at the top, which is why there's a line break there. A plate that ran black. All in all I'm disappointed even though I was really looking forward to receiving them. Beautiful colour, stunning distance views and vigorous. It's just not very well done. Too bad, because I love sets! Only quality control needs improvement!
