Review on Enhanced Performance Front Evolution Drilled & Slotted Rotor Pair - Power Stop AR8640XPR by Bob Souza

After these rotors have worked for almost 2 months, I confidently write a review. My 2006 suburb has changed several sets of brakes and rotors over the past 10 years and these have been the BEST of them. NO fade, great bite and improved pedal feel. Towed a 6000lb caravan for a few hundred miles 3 days after installation and they worked flawlessly. Significantly improved over standard smooth rotors. We'll see how they hold up in a year or two, but so far so good! I will get for the rear wheels and for my next brake change. UPDATE 05/16/2018 After 2 years of installation I'm still totally impressed. I didn't mention before that I also use Power Stop pads and added a matching rear disc and pad combo in July 2016. After all that time of daily driving, mountaineering and the occasional towing. This big vehicle HOG still stops a dime, has great solid pedal feel and the pads are only HALF worn. I have always changed the bearing pads/discs every 18 months which is considered normal for these heavy vehicles. No longer. The rotors also look decent, very little rust/discoloration. I now buy more sets in convenient configurations "sets” for other cars for myself, friends and relatives.
