This is exactly what I was looking for. The dumplings are the size my Polish grandmother used to bake for us. You are comparable in size to Ms. T. This device is very easy to use and works great. People who gave this a 1 star are confused and probably shouldn't be in the kitchen. I have to say the first batch didn't come out perfect but I made 9 dozen in one day and after the first dozen I figured out how to use it and they came out great. Here's what I did: First I made my potato and cheese filling and refrigerated until set, then weighed 1 ounce of the filling into small egg shapes in my hand and rolled out and set aside for a few minutes put in the fridge more hours. I then kneaded the dough and divided it into 6 ounce balls. I dusted the edges of the dumpling with flour where there are small cloves so the dough doesn't stick. Then I used 4 ounces (from a 6 ounce ball), rolled the rolling pin into a rectangle and placed it on top of the device. Make sure you have enough to let the edges droop. Use the plastic wrap to make indentations in the dough and create pockets, this will pull in any dough that's sticking out at the edges. Next, slip the potato stuffing ball into your pocket, and then roll out a 2-ounce piece of dough into a rectangle and place it on top. Roll the device with a rolling pin and remove the scraps of dough. Important: Then press all edges of the teeth of the individual dumplings firmly onto the mold with your finger. Then place a small baking tray or a plate on top and turn over. This is also important: The 1-ounce stuffing balls are quite large for this mold, and you'll need to gently squeeze each dumpling one at a time to remove them from the mold without tearing the dough by scraping them against the rim of the mold . Once they're out, it's time to put them in boiling water for a few minutes. I made 9 dozen and not a single dumpling opened during cooking. This device sealed them perfectly.
