I walk pretty rough in my shoes, and the quality stitching and solid rubber sole are perfect for long walks. These hiking shoes are very light, made of very durable material with a cross pattern. Nobody likes to talk about sweaty feet but I have them and they breathe really well. No lingering shoe odor like my Nike and New Balance (NB) shoes. They are not waterproof but dry quickly.
