Ring box and gourmet salt
I bought the salt box as a ring box and a beautiful gourmet salt box that was given to us. The bottom appears to be made of a single piece of wood rather than two parts (hollow cylinder and disk). Removing the sticker took some effort. I used some mineral oil which I use to condition my carving block and it gave the box a nice woody finish. The lid is a bit loose and it is not an airtight seal. Now I live in an arid climate, but if I still lived in a high humidity environment I think the salt would stick together quickly.
