I wanted to upgrade my 150Mbps wireless adapter which normally gives around 40Mbps download speed. My desktop is on the opposite end of the house from where the router is, so I'm trying to turn on my current adapter and came across this one. I read the specs and all the reviews and for the money I thought it was a steal so I ordered it. Installation was very easy and quick and I was able to get it up and running in seconds with no issues, but then I saw that my download speed was around 20Mbps. I ran a WiFi test a couple of times thinking it was a bug and got 20Mbps or less all the time. My current 150Mbps 2.4GHz high gain Wi-Fi-N wireless adapter gives me better download speeds than this one. Extremely disappointed, will definitely be back.
