Review on 🔨 Renekton Center Chisel Punches by Doug Virden

Over the years I've used many, many punches and chisels and have broken and bent many! Hit it or it's so soft the metal just bends and rolls. I'm happy to say that this set is just right, not too brittle and not too soft so really well tempered. Here ends my praise. The workmanship is a bit rough, one of the chisel tips is sharpened at different angles. You can fix it, but you don't have to. Another chisel has a slightly beveled edge, which is hard to tell but true. The markings are difficult to read and look like they were laser etched rather than punched. My eyes need stamped marks. Overall it works well for what it does and doesn't break or bend which is why I was able to give it 4 stars. They are fully functional and passed my test. With some minor flaws, this is a strong but not finely tuned set of strokes and chisels. Hope this helps and thanks.
