Because I have to redo a lot of the builders work on my house, I needed a good set of hammers. I saw this kit and ordered it through the Vine program for future work. I have this Renekton punch and chisel set. They work great. This is a good set, the case is very good for organization. Each chisel and punch has its own storage case. The case itself feels solid and thick, with two holes at the top if you want to hang it up. There is also a strap so when you roll it up just tie it together so it doesn't close, it's a great case. Over the years I've used many, many punches and chisels and have broken and bent many! Hit it or it's so soft the metal just bends and rolls. I'm happy to say that this set is just right, not too brittle and not too soft so really well tempered. Here ends my praise. The workmanship is a bit rough, one of the chisel tips is sharpened at different angles. You can fix it, but you don't have to. Another chisel has a slightly beveled edge, which is hard to tell but true. The markings are difficult…

This is a really decent hammer and chisel set for the price. I do industrial maintenance so a good set of hammer and chisels is a must. It has 3 chisels. The chisels are not properly sharpened as you can see from my photos. I can fix it, but that's not necessary with the new set. It also comes with 2 center grains. You will get 1/8" and 3/16". I used a 3/16" center punch and it did the job. So far I haven't had any problems with pancake ends. You get an additional 5 tapered punches with this…
