Knowledgeable author, terrible presentation
The authors know what is good. What is shocking, however, is that the "editor" didn't even bother to check the spelling of the book. Spell checking is the bare minimum before submitting your book for print. There are 20 in the middle of the world in the book <- so! Also, there are hundreds upon hundreds of bugs. On command lines. Some of them are just silly and obvious, while others are just dizzying and not so clear. The writing style is very informal, which distracts the reader from the content. The final disappointment is that there is no big picture on many of the topics covered: why should things be done a certain way and the trade-offs between different technologies.
