A must if you are interested in KVM

The author does an excellent job of filling theory and practice. Very well balanced. This book is on my A list. Very thorough work.

5 Stars Kindle eBooks

I read the whole book and found so much information on topics like KVM internals, software defined networking, Ovirt, Openstack, performance issues, V2V/P2V. I haven't found a single book that covers all topics related to KVM. This book deserves more than 5 stars.

Pros
  • Brilliantly Done

Knowledgeable author, terrible presentation

The authors know what is good. What is shocking, however, is that the "editor" didn't even bother to check the spelling of the book. Spell checking is the bare minimum before submitting your book for print. There are 20 in the middle of the world in the book <- so! Also, there are hundreds upon hundreds of bugs. On command lines. Some of them are just silly and obvious, while others are just dizzying and not so clear. The writing style is very informal, which distracts the reader from the…

Excellent book on virtualization

Excellent book on virtualization, I haven't found a book that describes the internals and details of virtualization technology in detail. An easy to read book with practical trading knowledge you can use. In this book you will learn a lot about KVM, Qemu, Libvirt, etc. I recommend this book to anyone who uses virtualization or wants to learn more about it.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive

Just a Must Have in Computers & Technology

This is a must read for anyone interested in open source virtualization. It is well written with simple examples and a comprehensive architecture. In addition, Humble Chirammal is one of the most experienced KVM, Kubernetes and Gluster hackers. Simply the best KVM book I have ever read.

Pros
  • Finally Bought

Good book only for virtualization beginners

This book is a good introduction. However, I found that I wanted more. The Red Hat documentation on KVM was added to my research after reading this book.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Poorly written but worth reading

The authors are knowledgeable but have very poor written English. It covers a lot of topics and you can understand what the authors are trying to convey, but clearly lacks skill when it comes to concise and concise communication and no apparent effort in editing or any degree of "ghostwriting" " to help. by someone who has the skills of a technical writer. All this to say that this is the best thing available in book form and costs relatively modestly in Kindle form. It would be a waste of…

OK - Not very.: Computers and Technologies

I was hoping for a little more. Something that might provide additional insight into mastering KVM. However, this is just a basic guide to installing KVM on Fedora Linux.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Null
