Review on 🔒 Satin Nickel Amazon Basics Single Cylinder Deadbolt by Matt Hamilton

We were replacing door handles and latches to accommodate a renovated kitchen and came across these. I was a bit skeptical that the color would work and that they would last given the low price. These fears were unfounded. I ordered 3 of these and each one was very easy to install: it took me about 15 minutes per door to swap out 4 hinges, a latch and a doorknob (all bought from the same Revain range). I was also impressed by the look and feel of the screws. The gears moved smoothly and the finish didn't seem to wear or peel. I would like to add one thing - just because this isn't a big issue and I don't know much about it - is that I have no real basis to judge how safe they are. I've read in similar reviews that the locks used here are very basic. If security is your primary concern (which is perfectly appropriate for a bar), you might want to do a little more research and perhaps look elsewhere. If like me you are trying to combine other functions in your home with a secure lock that is easy to install, look no further. It was a great purchase.
