I use a K&N filter on all my cars although according to my Draggi before and after this filter added no performance for 0-60, 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile . Perhaps the 2021 Rav4 Prime PHEV with an Eco engine is likely to have more restrictions on the exhaust or intake side that are somehow even more restricted than the air filter. As the weather warms up I'll check to see if removing the secondary non-replaceable fine filter is still the worst constraint and continue testing after opening up airflow in and out of the engine. The nice thing is that the car sounded more aggressive with the engine running, although for obvious reasons that doesn't matter in EV mode.
