I like it very much. We bought them for our trailer. We lost the one we got with our Rand McNally. We have 7'. Pretty hard. This small pad stuck to our dashboard on the textured side and was angled close to the windshield. So far (about 3 weeks later) it's still sticking out. We turned it on and off a few times (in broke down condition when the truck was handed over). It's still sticking. I wiped the area with rubbing alcohol before sticking it to the dash and we waited 24 hours for it to stick as best it could. Love it. The only reason I didn't give the full 5 stars is that it doesn't sit completely flush. It's barely noticeable, and as I said, it's the textured sloping area of the dashboard. That's why I'm sure. We're just OCD. But it still works great. If we weren't so OCD, we wouldn't even notice.
