Review on πŸšͺ Carlson Flexi Configurable Walk Through Pet Gate - 76" Wide by Kelley Perkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Withstands a lot of abuse! 4 year update!

This is a fantastic goal. We have a very wide aisle between the living room and the kitchen and we didn't know how to divide it for children and dogs. We didn't want to screw it to the door frame as we knew it would likely be pulled, bumped, hit and pushed. It has taken a lot of wear and tear over the past six months including a 2 year old, 2 beagle dogs and several adults who have walked through it many, many times each day. Holds up great. (My dogs are a bit too big to fit through this small pet door - I'd say this only works for toy-sized dogs and most cats.) The fitment is very resistant to the door frame. Its design does not outweigh our decor. And the 2-year-old still doesn't know how to handle the lock. If it's not blocked; (with the red latch over the latch) then he can easily open it. He can't move the red lock yet, which is great. Too bad we got it earlier. Although we never took it off to check, I don't see any damage to the wooden door frame, except of course there are a few holes there now. The deal is definitely worth it. Update: We STILL have this gate installed in our home. It was wonderful. Now we have two kids, two more dogs and it's amazing. I've encountered this thing a million times just because I was clumsy and it didn't move. We even carried some small furniture through this gate; whether it climbs higher or slides through a hole. We didn't experience anything described in the negative reviews. I'm just saying.πŸ‘πŸ»
