I really like this jacket! The components appear to be well made and the sherpa lining is a nice soft yet warm addition to the raincoat. My son pictured above is in the 70th to 80th percentile for a 4 year old boy and weighs around 40 pounds meaning most children are about this or smaller and your "normal size" may be a little too much is big for you. ordered him 5t as most of his shirts, pajamas etc are in that size; At the moment this jacket is a bit too big for him. The size is close enough not to require a replacement which will be nice as we bought it from MN for the fall season and we may be able to use it in the spring as well. He really likes his new jacket and so do I. He seems well built, which is important to me, the pattern is attractive enough to please both him and I, and it keeps him warm on his morning drives to kindergarten in the freezing 30 degrees. He has been actively wearing it for a few weeks now and I recommend this jacket to anyone considering it.
