My 5 year old daughter has been asking for one of these glowing journals ever since her almost 7 year old sister got one for her birthday! Yesterday we celebrated her birthday and she finally got it. She likes to press the heart button to light up and I think she feels great having her own journal. The set includes a journal with lined paper, a set of stickers, a lock and keys. No need to put batteries, which is very convenient. For less than $10 I think this is a fun gift for young girls and aspiring writers. My only downside is that you if you look closely at one of my photos, you can see hot glue pinning a heart to a journal. It's not the best made diary, but I also think it's one of my daughters favorite gifts. So remember it's a gift you pay for. It's less than $10 and the quality proves it. All in all, it's still fun and I'd recommend it.
