I was very impressed with the accuracy and reliability of this machine. Then, after a few weeks of sharpening various pastel pencils, it became less and less. First, it was no longer possible to sharpen a charcoal pencil on it. Then Stabilo Carbothello pencils; then Faber Castell and Derwent pastels. Now I dare not expose anything to its destruction. I took the cutter out conscientiously and cleaned it after each use of the pencil: knocked out the core of the pastel pencil, cleaned the cutter with a boar bristle brush, emptied the box. And then this monster will devour another. First of 20 times; then 2 of 20; 4 out of 20 and now we're at 16 out of 20. Exponential destruction.
