Bought this battery tester because my 2016 Acura MDX would not start the engine after an Automatic Engine Shutdown (IDS feature) at a red light or traffic light. The battery tester showed that I have a very low AC current (230 AC, 650 AC is indicated on the battery), as well as a low current when starting the engine ("Cranking Test" this function is not available in all testers, that is one of the reasons for choosing this device ). After that I bought a charger with recovery function for an AGM battery and checked the result. The tester showed 91% CCA (585 CCA). With the device it was possible to determine that the problem was due to the low current and the RCA of the battery (I think due to the fact that the battery is old and has not been used for a long time before the next ride). Device to even reach the windshield to observe the results of the chart.
