Great scope - durable - quality construction

Received this earlier today and have been playing with it for about 7 hours now. I would like to point out for others that there are several models of this particular range on Amazon, which differ mainly in the accessories that come with them. While not listed for this scope, it came with WF16x eyepieces as well as the 10x and 20x listed which was a nice bonus. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. The scope is heavy duty and if you watch college youtube videos to brush up on your scope skills, this scope works just like the Olympus and other scopes the professors used. Pros: * The mechanical table is very durable and easy to get. around the slide and mark the places with graduations. Single-axis/two-hand controls make it easy to navigate the slide and focus at the same time. * 3 included eyepieces provide additional magnifications of 64/160/640 and 1600. * Heavy-duty construction * Halogen lighting at all costs * Rotating eyepieces * Includes a small amount of immersion oil, an extra bulb and extra standard fuse, and a lens storage case. Eyepieces, but in no way disturb when observing. Not a minus, but would happily spend the extra money on a trinocular for the camera/live view/triple view etc. While you can get an adapter to connect the camera to the binocular version, if I had to repeat it I would go with the Trinoc version.

Pros
  • Sturdy heavy duty metal frame
Cons
  • No mold required
